Going to NSS for the first time!

Okay, here we go! I can't believe that I am going tomorrow to the National Stationery Show in NYC to set up our New Exhibitor Wall!  There has been so much planning, and of course, I haven't finished everything, but we are still going! The first time I walked NSS was a super long time ago, I think it was 2013, and I remember thinking that I didn't know what I could add or make in this space. There were so many amazing artists and illustrators getting it done and putting their products out there. So I shelved the idea and went back to making fine art work and doing some pretty great projects that I am proud of. The idea of making a product line kept nagging at me, and I walked NY NOW in 2016 and thought that maybe it was in the Handmade section where I wanted to exhibit. Once again, I was doing other things and had a very demanding teaching job, and so I put the idea of exhibiting aside. This time, however, I decided that I wanted to start a stationery business, and Loteria Press was in January 2018. Finally, this last winter, I went back to see the National Stationery Show, and I realized I was ready! Now to get this straight I haven't finished a million tasks, but I am excited and terrified. I can't wait to meet all of the paper industry people and retailers that I have been following! Okay, wish me luck!
